For customers with highly particular requirements, Seahorse Yacht Tenders can deliver fully customised tender designs within a short time-frame, built in either composites, aluminium or wood.

Our parent company, Shoreline, offers a wide range of services to the international yachting community, and we are thus keenly aware of the special requirements for this type of craft.

MCA COMPLIANCE

Most of our tenders can be delivered with a certificate indicating compliance with MCA regulations for rescue/life boats. The laminate and structure of our tenders has been carefully engineered to take the loads required for the use as rescue boat, by far exceeding the loads in normal tender use. The soundness of the construction has been demonstrated when our original 7.5m limousine was put through the tests, sustaining no more damage then a crushed rubrail. Also, operational test have proven the ability of our tender to recover a drowning person and tow a heavy load of life rafts. All extra gear needed for rescue boat operation can easily be stored or fitted. By this it was the first tender to be properly certified. All our tenders, with or without MCA approval are unsinkable.
